Tide Pool is a short set - rounded tip, barely past the fingertip - split between pearl pink, sea blue and milky white. Gold-toned work runs across it in waves, chains and small shells, with sculpted grey starfish on two nails, pearls set along the cuticle, and a large iridescent stone held in a gold cage on another. The blue nails carry raised clear droplets like water sitting on the surface.

MATERIAL DETAILS
At least five hand-applied layers of soft gel. The pearl shimmer is mixed into the base rather than brushed over it, and the gold-toned work, starfish and stones are applied by hand in our Saigon studio.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply to clean, dry nails. Keep out of long hot soaks and wear gloves for cleaning. Remove with cuticle oil and warm water, easing from the side rather than prying, and keep acetone away from the gold work. Store flat so the caged stone and pearls stay seated.

FAQ
Is the gold real metal?
No. It is a gold-toned gel, piped on and built up until it stands proud of the nail.

Will short nails hold the adhesive as well as long ones?
Better, in fact. There is less leverage on a short nail, so less pull on the bond.

Is the large stone an opal?
It is an iridescent decorative stone, not a cut gem. It is held in a gold-toned cage built around it by hand.
