How long do Muoi press-on nails last?

It depends on which method you use:

  • With the adhesive tabs included in your kit: 1–2 days. Tabs are gentle and easy to swap — great for events, weekends, or test fits.
  • With nail glue (sold separately): up to 14–21 days when nails are prepped well and kept dry during the first hours.

Heavy water exposure or oils on the nail bed will shorten wear time. To get the most life from your set, clean and dry your natural nails before applying, press firmly for 10–15 seconds per nail, and avoid soaking your hands in the first few hours.

Why isn't nail glue included?

Two practical reasons — both come down to keeping your order fair and affordable:

  • Shipping liquid adhesives internationally adds significantly more cost to every order. Bundling glue into the kit would raise shipping for every customer — even those who already own glue from previous sets. We'd rather not pass that on to you.
  • Most returning customers already have glue. Press-on nails are reusable, so people who order more than once tend to keep a bottle at home. Why charge everyone for something most don't need?

So your kit comes with adhesive tabs, ready to use the moment it arrives. For longer wear (14–21 days), here's what we recommend picking up at any drugstore or beauty supply store (CVS, Walgreens, Sally Beauty, Ulta):

  • A standard brush-on nail glue. Basic bottles are affordable and last several sets — no need for anything fancy.
  • A small bottle of acetone (or acetone-based nail polish remover) — only if you plan to use glue. This is the gentle way to dissolve glue when it's time to remove your set, so you can lift the nails off instead of pulling them.

Looking after your natural nails matters to us as much as the set itself. Apply on clean, dry nails. Take your time during removal — never pull or pry. Give your nails a short break between sets when you can. These small habits keep your natural nails in better shape over time and let you reuse your Muoi set more often.

If you're unsure what to pick up, the staff at any beauty supply store can help — just tell them you're using press-on nails with glue and want a gentle removal option.

Will press-on nails damage my natural nails?

Not at all. Muoi Press-On Nails are designed for safe, non-invasive wear.

When applied and removed correctly, your natural nails stay protected underneath.

Are they reusable?

Yes — with gentle removal and careful storage, each Muoi set can be reused multiple times.

Every set is hand-painted by our team of 20 artisans in our Saigon studio — never mass-produced. Each nail is built with at least five hand-applied layers of premium soft gel, then custom-sized to your measurements.

Materials & Safety

The materials in our kits — nail tips and gel polish — have been independently lab-tested.

  • Nail tips passed US CPSC heavy-metal screening in January 2025: no detectable lead or cadmium across all color variants.
  • Gel polish was tested to ISO/IEC 17025 standards in 2023: no detectable heavy metals, microbial screening clear, and skin irritation rated insignificant per ISO 10993-10.

Can I change or cancel my order?

To ensure fast processing, we accept changes or cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order.

After this window, your set enters production and can no longer be modified.
