Cat Eye Nails

Our cat eye press-on nails capture that shifting band of light that moves as you tilt your hand — hand-painted in our Saigon studio, made to order for your nail measurements.

Every set in this collection is priced $35–45 and built with at least five hand-applied layers of soft gel, so the magnetic shimmer sits under a glossy finish instead of on top of it. You'll find pink cat eye nails for softer looks, red cat eye nails for high-drama moments, and blue cat eye nails for something cooler and more editorial.

Why our cat eye press-on nails look different

The cat eye effect comes from magnetic pigment reacting to a magnet held above the wet gel — the tiny particles line up to form that signature streak of light. Because each set is painted by hand, our team can control exactly where that light band sits: centered for a classic look, angled for a diagonal cat eye, or doubled for a deeper 3D pull. We build every nail with a minimum of five soft gel layers. That depth is what gives magnetic cat eye nails their sense of movement — the shimmer sits inside the nail, not painted flat across the surface. The top layer is cured to a glossy, hand-painted shine, so you get the shifting effect without a milky or dull finish. Each set is made to order to your own nail measurements, in a 20-person studio, all working by hand, trained personally by our founder Huong. Nothing here is mass-produced. With proper care, sets are reusable, which makes the $35–45 range a better long-term value than repeating the same look at a salon every few weeks. Cat eye is a year-round design — the shade you choose changes the mood more than the season does.

How to choose your cat eye press-on nails

Shade family
Cat eye pigment behaves differently over different base colors. Pink cat eye nails read soft and feminine, with a rose-gold shimmer that suits everyday wear. Red cat eye nails deepen into a burgundy shift under the light — great for evenings, holidays, and photos. Blue cat eye nails run cooler and more editorial, with a sapphire-to-silver ripple that stands out against warm skin tones.

Magnet placement
The direction of the light band changes the whole feel of the nail. A centered vertical streak is the most classic and flattering on shorter nails. A diagonal streak elongates the finger and works well on almond and coffin shapes. Many designs come in a set magnet direction as shown — message the studio before ordering if you'd like to check a different placement.

Budget and reuse
Sets in this collection are priced $35–45. Because they're reusable with proper care, the cost per wear drops quickly compared to booking the same design at a salon. If you're new to press-ons, start with one shade you'll wear often rather than three trend pieces.

Best for
Best for year-round wear: Choose a versatile shade from the pink cat eye nails range — it moves easily between workdays and weekends. Best for gift-giving: A red cat eye nails set feels the most universally special and photographs beautifully once it's on. Best for first-time buyers: Start with a single blue cat eye nails set in your most-worn nail shape, so you can learn how the magnetic effect wears before ordering multiples.

FAQs

Cat eye nails use magnetic pigment that responds to a magnet during application, pulling the shimmer into a concentrated band of light. Regular shimmer sits evenly across the nail, while cat eye shifts and moves as you tilt your hand.

Each design comes as shown, in the shade and magnet style you see on the product page. What we do make to order is the fit — every set is hand-painted to your own nail measurements. If you'd like a fully custom color or effect, message the studio first to check if it's possible before you order.

We ask for your own nail measurements at checkout rather than sending generic sizes. If you're unsure how to measure, our size guide walks through it with photos, and you can message the studio directly before we start painting.

Cat eye works year-round. Pink and nude bases feel everyday, red suits holidays and evenings, and blue reads editorial in any season. The design itself isn't tied to a specific time of year.

Store the set flat in its original case between wears, avoid prying them off (use cuticle oil to loosen the adhesive), and clean the underside gently with alcohol before reapplying. With careful removal, most wearers reuse a set multiple times.
