Coffin Nails

Coffin nails give you that long, tapered silhouette with a flat squared tip — a shape that flatters most nail beds and holds trend-forward art beautifully.

Every set in this collection is hand-painted in our Saigon studio and made to your own nail measurements, with pricing from $35–$50. You'll find chrome coffin nails, cat-eye finishes, aura gradients, French tip coffin nails, and seasonal designs — all built with at least five layers of soft gel.

Why our coffin shaped nails

Coffin nails need a clean taper and a straight tip edge to look right — which is hard to fake at scale. Each set is painted by hand in our 20-person Saigon studio, with every maker trained personally by our founder Huong. Nothing here is mass-produced. The build matters as much as the shape. Every coffin set is layered with at least five hand-applied coats of soft gel, which gives the nail its weight, its glossy finish, and enough structure to hold the long silhouette without feeling flimsy. Because sets are made to order to your own measurements, the fit sits closer to the natural nail than a generic size kit. With proper care, our coffin press on nails are reusable — so a single set worn multiple times works out to better long-term value than repeat salon appointments. You can rotate designs, save favourites for events, and rewear the ones you love. Coffin is a year-round shape, and the designs reflect that: chrome, cat-eye, aura, classic French coffin nails, and seasonal drops throughout the year.

How to choose your coffin nails

Length

Coffin looks most balanced at medium to long lengths — the taper needs room to read. If you're new to the shape, start medium; if you want the full dramatic silhouette, go long. Because every set is made to your measurements, you can request a length that suits your lifestyle rather than defaulting to what a generic kit offers.

Design finish

Chrome and cat-eye finishes catch light and lean editorial. Aura gradients feel softer and more wearable day-to-day. French tip coffin nails are the most versatile — they pair with almost any outfit and work across seasons. Pick based on how often you'd wear the set, not just how it photographs.

Budget and reuse

Sets in this collection run $35–$50. Because they're reusable with proper care, the per-wear cost drops each time you put them back on — worth weighing against the cost of repeat salon visits if you wear nails often.

Best for

Best for first-time buyers: Choose a French tip coffin set — the classic finish is the easiest way to see if you like the coffin silhouette before committing to bolder art. Best for gift-giving: Pick a chrome or cat-eye set from the coffin collection — the finish photographs beautifully and feels like an occasion piece. Best for year-round wear: A soft aura or nude French coffin set works across seasons and outfits, so it earns its place in regular rotation.

FAQs

Yes — coffin and ballerina refer to the same shape: long, tapered sides with a flat squared-off tip. Some brands use one name, some use the other.

Coffin shape nails suit most nail beds, especially medium to long ones, because the taper visually lengthens the finger. If your natural nails are very short or wide, ask us at checkout and we'll advise on the most flattering length.

Wear time depends on your application method and daily activity. Applied with nail glue, most wearers get around 14–21 days; adhesive tabs are better for shorter 1–2 day wears. With proper care, a set can be removed and reworn.

Remove gently by soaking in warm soapy water rather than pulling, clean any residue from the underside, and store them flat in their case. Avoid harsh solvents like pure acetone, which can dull the gel finish.
