Muoi Press-On Nails was founded by Huong, a Saigon-based nail artist who designs every set before it reaches production. Her hand-painted press-ons are made in a small studio of 20 artisans she trained herself — each set crafted slowly, one at a time, never mass produced.
01 — Where it began
It started with a love of art
Huong was always drawn to work that asked for patience — drawing, painting, small details done slowly by hand.
That instinct never left her. Nail art, when she found it, felt like the most personal canvas of all: tiny, precise, and worn out into the world.
02 — The turning point
The set that started everything
Like a lot of people, Huong kept running into the same trade-off: beautiful salon sets that disappeared too quickly, and press-ons ordered online that arrived flat and lifeless. She was sure she could do better — so she bought the materials and made a set herself.
Her friends noticed. They asked her to make sets for them, too. Then their friends did. Somewhere in all those quiet evenings of painting, what began as "I can do this better myself" became the work she loved most.
That work became Muoi.
03 — The studio
A studio built on her own standard
Today, Muoi is a studio of 20 nail artisans in Saigon — and every one of them was trained by Huong herself.
She chose to train her team personally for one reason: she wanted a single standard for everything that carries the Muoi name — careful work, consistent quality, and materials chosen with comfort, wearability, and studio safety in mind. No one joins the table until they've learned to work the Muoi way.
04 — Her role today
Still hands-on, every day
Huong leads the creative room, where every design begins as her sketch before it ever reaches a nail. She still works directly on the craft — reviewing designs closely, studying customer feedback, and working with the studio team to refine every detail that carries the Muoi name.
Nothing leaves the studio that she wouldn't be proud to wear herself.

05 — What she believes
Made slowly, on purpose
Huong believes beautiful things should be made slowly, by hand.
That's why, as Muoi grows, she adds more artisans rather than more speed. Each set is painted carefully, one at a time — so the answer to more demand is more hands, never more shortcuts. Quality first. Never quantity.
