Muoi means ten
Muoi means "ten" in Vietnamese — ten fingers, ten nails, one complete look.
To us, ten is the number of wholeness — and we believe every one of your ten nails deserves to be treated like a small work of art. That idea is where our name begins, and where every set we make still starts.
Muoi is a hand-painted press-on nail brand based in Saigon, Vietnam. Founded by Huong, Muoi creates made-to-order, reusable soft-gel press-on nails in a small studio of trained artisans. Each set is crafted one at a time and can be built to your own nail measurements.
02 — The studio
A nail atelier,
not a nail factory
Muoi is a small studio of nail artisans in Saigon. We don't run molds or machines. We paint by hand, one set at a time.
Vietnamese nail artistry is admired around the world — the precision, the patience, the eye for detail are part of how we grew up. Muoi is our way of bringing that craft directly to your fingertips, the way nail art was always meant to be made: slowly, carefully, and by hand.
03 — The founder
Made by Huong
Muoi was started by Huong, who has loved nail art since long before it was a business. She wanted something that didn't exist yet: nail art that was genuinely crafted, that you could wear at home and live your life in.
So she built a small Saigon studio — 20 artisans she trained herself — and they started painting sets one at a time.

Because every set is hand-painted by a real artisan, no two are exactly alike. The small variations aren't flaws — they're the signature of a human hand. When you wear Muoi, you're wearing something a person made, not something a machine printed.

05 — The fit

We don't keep shelves of ready-made stock. Your set is crafted only after you order it — and we can build it around your own nail measurements, so it fits your hands rather than a generic mold.
A better fit means a more natural look, and a longer wear. This is the difference between buying a product and commissioning a small piece of art.
06 — The craft
The craft
Each set is slowly built in at least five hand-applied layers of premium soft gel — a flexible gel cured under LED light — giving the nails their depth, structure, and shine. The soft gel is designed for comfortable wear, and built to be worn again and again with care.
No shortcuts, no machines — just time, skill, and a steady hand.
07 — Safety & materials
What touches your skin matters to us.
Before any set leaves our studio, the materials behind it are checked. Our nail tips passed US CPSC heavy-metal screening in January 2025 — no detectable lead or cadmium across color variants. Our gel polish was tested to ISO/IEC 17025 standards in 2023, with no detectable heavy metals, clear microbial screening, and skin irritation rated insignificant under ISO 10993-10.
We keep the full test documentation on file and are happy to share it on request. It's a small part of how we try to make Muoi worth keeping on your shelf — not just for a week, but for many.
