At least five hand-applied layers of soft gel with shifting pigment worked into the base. The silver moons, suns and stars are piped and built up by hand, the planet is sculpted, and the stones are set along drawn lines.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply to clean, dry nails. Keep out of long hot soaks and wear gloves for cleaning, which keeps the silver bright. Remove with cuticle oil and warm water, easing from the side - never pry, and never use acetone. Store flat so the planet and raised moons keep their shape.

No. It is a silver-toned gel, piped and built up by hand until it stands off the nail.

Does the base really change colour?
Yes - it runs pink, violet and blue depending on the angle and the light source. Daylight brings out the blue most.

Is the planet fragile?
It is the tallest element in the set and the one most worth protecting. Store the set flat and it will keep its shape across wears.
