Most nails are carved into deep shell ridges that fan out from a point, so the surface rises and falls under a thumb. Two carry a sculpted lily in cream and yellow, speckled with red. A pearl in a beaded gold surround sits near the cuticle on several, and two nails take a flash of orange-red at the base.

MATERIAL DETAILS
At least five hand-applied layers of soft gel. The ridges are carved into the gel while it is part-set, so the cuts hold a clean edge, and the lily is sculpted petal by petal and speckled by hand before placement.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply to clean, dry nails. Keep away from long hot soaks and wear gloves for cleaning. Remove with cuticle oil and warm water, lifting from the side rather than prying, and never use acetone. Store flat so the carved ridges are not pressed down.

Can I feel the ridges?
Clearly. They are carved several millimetres deep in places, so the surface is noticeably uneven under a thumb.

Is amber a yellow or a brown?
Somewhere between. On the nail it reads as honey in daylight and closer to brown under warm indoor light.

Will the carving collect dirt?
The grooves are sealed under a gloss layer, so nothing sits in them. A soft brush under warm water clears anything that does.
