Gilded Noir is a short rounded set that moves between black, sage grey, amber and heavy gold. Two nails are almost entirely gold with a large iridescent stone ringed by gold beads. Others take black with white polka dots and a row of pearls across the tip, a gold spiral spinning over dark amber, a painted lily on burnt orange, and a sage nail dipped in black with gold banding at the join.

MATERIAL DETAILS
At least five hand-applied layers of soft gel. The gold is built up in several passes to get the depth, and the beaded frames, pearls and stones are set by hand into the surface before the final cure.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Apply to clean, dry nails. Keep away from long hot soaks and wear gloves for cleaning - harsh chemicals dull a gold finish faster than anything else. Remove with cuticle oil and warm water, lifting from the side, never prying, and never with acetone. Store flat so the beaded frames stay intact.

No. It is a gold-toned gel built up in layers. There is no gold leaf or metal in the set.

Will the gold scratch?
It is sealed under a gel top layer, so it resists everyday contact. Strong cleaning products are what dull it, which is why gloves are worth it.

How long will the set stay on?
Around 1-2 days with the adhesive tabs in the kit, or around 14-21 days with nail glue, which is sold separately.
