Why our cat eye press-on nails look different

The cat eye effect comes from magnetic pigment reacting to a magnet held above the wet gel — the tiny particles line up to form that signature streak of light. Because each set is painted by hand, our team can control exactly where that light band sits: centered for a classic look, angled for a diagonal cat eye, or doubled for a deeper 3D pull. We build every nail with a minimum of five soft gel layers. That depth is what gives magnetic cat eye nails their sense of movement — the shimmer sits inside the nail, not painted flat across the surface. The top layer is cured to a glossy, hand-painted shine, so you get the shifting effect without a milky or dull finish. Each set is made to order to your own nail measurements, in a 20-person studio, all working by hand, trained personally by our founder Huong. Nothing here is mass-produced.
